Section 01

Rates

The rates of the tour packages are in US dollars (USD). They are subject to change without prior notice, particularly due to exchange rate variations and the policies of transport operators and of the entities that manage the Machu Picchu citadel.

To confirm the booking, an initial deposit of 50% of the total package value is required. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 15 days before the start date of the tour.

Section 02

Services not included

The following services are not included in the packages:

• Domestic and international air tickets.
• Train tickets (unless the package states otherwise).
• Personal expenses such as tips, drinks and extras.
• Entry to archaeological sites not specified in the itinerary.
• Personal travel insurance.

Section 03

Documentation, insurance and luggage

To enter the Machu Picchu Citadel, presenting your passport and Entry Migratory Card (Tarjeta Migratoria de Ingreso) is mandatory. No changes can be made to the documents after the tickets are issued.

Passengers are responsible for obtaining and keeping valid their travel documents, passports, visas and required vaccinations. It is the traveler's responsibility to have travel insurance to cover medical emergencies, cancellations or other unforeseen events.

Luggage must not exceed 15 kg per person (7 kg by train). We are not responsible for the loss or damage of personal items, luggage or valuables such as cameras, electronic devices, money, jewelry or passports.

Section 04

Hotels and accommodation

The hotels included in the packages may vary depending on availability. The choice of hotel is made according to the tourist category offered in the package.

If the selected hotel were not available, a hotel of similar or better category will be booked, informing the passenger of the change in a timely manner.

Section 05

Refunds for cancellations

Refunds for the cancellation of bookings or services will only be granted in accordance with the policies of the providers and the administering entities of the tourist sites.

In the case of the Inca Trail and the entries to the Machu Picchu Citadel, the payments made are non-refundable. Remember:

• If the Inca Trail is cancelled by the passenger, no refund is made.
• If the Inca Trail is cancelled by the administering entity, the refund will be processed after the corresponding procedure with the entity.
• Issued train tickets and air tickets have their own conditions of the airline or operator and are generally non-refundable.

Section 06

Air tickets, Inca Trail, modifications and liability

Air tickets are issued under the terms and conditions of each airline. Changes of date, name or route are subject to the airline's penalties and to the cost of the tickets.

Inca Trail itineraries are confirmed according to the availability of the spaces authorized by the administering entity. The order of the tour routes may vary due to weather or logistics factors, without affecting the included services.

Perú Inkas Top acts only as an intermediary in transportation, accommodation and other independent provider services; we do not assume responsibility for delays, accidents, losses or damages caused by said third parties. The agency's liability is limited to the services expressly contracted and provided directly by us.

Important: if a tour or service cannot be operated due to circumstances beyond our control (natural disasters, official closures, etc.), the refund will be processed according to the policy of the corresponding administering entity or provider.
