Before your great journey
Tour cancellations due to bad weather are not refundable, as they are factors beyond our control.
According to the policies of the Dirección Desconcentrada de Cultura de Cusco (DDC), all Machu Picchu entry tickets are personal: they cannot be rescheduled, transferred or refunded.

Peru Rail and Inca Rail do not allow seat selection: seats are assigned automatically by the system.
We recommend taking the Expedition or Voyager train on the way there and the Vistadome or 360° panoramic train on the way back, to enjoy better views without missing the visit.
It is not mandatory for those visiting the cultural region (Cusco and Machu Picchu). However, it is recommended for those traveling to the Amazon rainforest of Peru.
It is not mandatory, but it is highly recommended for all visitors.
The standard voltage in Peru is 230V. Some hotels offer 110V outlets with transformers upon request.
In Peru, US dollars and soles are accepted. Ideally, bring dollars and exchange them at safe exchange offices within the country, preferably those recommended by your travel agency.
There are two main seasons: the rainy season (November to March) and the dry season (April to October). In Cusco and Machu Picchu temperatures range between 0°C and 24°C; in Lima, between 12°C and 35°C.
